Who We Are & Why We’re Here
Parenting feels easier when you have a trusted friend in your corner.
Alamae Play & Consulting is designed to support parents and caregivers as they navigate the process of starting ABA services upon their child receiving an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. ‘
We are also here to support families long-term: teaching caregivers how to promote learning and growth through play. After all, kids learn best when engaged in meaningful play. Let’s build that together.
Founded by Katelyn Barbuzzi, MS, BCBA, LABA, a mom of 3 (Alfred, Amelia, & Maeve) and BCBA with 12+ years of experience in the ABA field, Alamae Play & Consulting aims to:
Support parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children with guidance, feedback, and consultation regarding their recent diagnoses and taking next steps
Support parents and caregivers in identifying their child’s play skills, play deficits, and areas of development needed
Create customized Play Kits based on their current developmental play skills and future growth and development
Provide step-by-step guidance on how to teach skills through play with parents, caregivers, siblings, and friends
